JPMorgan Chase & Co., the second- largest U.S. bank by assets, is trying to fix its consumer website after a failure late yesterday left more than 16.5 million customers without access to online banking. I have been trying all day to login and see my account balances, it appears that have an internet outage.

Health Care Bill

The most sweeping health care bill in 50 years will be voted on at 10pm. Some have said the president has limited accomplishments, since being elected, Even Saturday Night Live went after him last month, this changes everything. This is a huge achievement for President Obama. I don’t think the bill will be perfect and I assume there will be issues, however something has to be done with the insurance system. If you are rich it is not an issue, if you are poor you can get medicaid, it is the middle class that gets hurt in the current system. The costs of health insurance for a family of 4 cost more than a car payment. Preexisting conditions affect tons of people who I know and it is not fair that people in the richest country in history, go bankrupt because of insurance.

The big winners are:

The Middle Class

President Obama

Nancy Pelosi

Insurance Companies.

The international hockey powers are fully aware of the source of the majority of the world’s hockey passion, which is why no action, or even mention of the Canadian impropriety has ever been made. Rules are not bent for the biggest and best, they are disregarded entirely. To borrow a phrase from th recent financial crisis, Team Canada is Too Big to Fail, thereby abdicating them of any culpability whatsoever.

Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, and Cross Country Skiing are other Vancouver Winter Olympics events featuring some outstanding Team Canada competitors. While the Canadian Olympics team has brought home a number of medals in these events in years past, recent injuries to six Canadian skiers have caused them to put up their ski gear and sit out this year’s Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Although Team USA defeated the Canadian team twice last year in the 2009 Hockey Canada Cup, some new additions to the team may prove worthwhile for Team Canada. In the World Junior Hockey Gold medal game held earlier this year, the junior American team defeated the Canadians by one point.

As the Vancouver Winter Olympics gear up, fans of Team Canada will be watching the Canadian Olympics hockey team. With nine previous Olympic winter games gold medals and hockey veteran Scott Niedermayer serving as the team’s captain, the competition between Team Canada and Team USA for this year’s top position in Olympics Hockey will be intense.

1. Place your bet now for the outright win if you think a favourite will win: The odds are better if you place now. The longer you wait, the more teams that get eliminated. Sure in theory you could say well there will be better odds for some teams not likely to win. But they’re not favoured for a reason – they’re not supposed to win. If you think Team Canada is going to win, then place your bet now for favourites.

How will Canada do in the 2010 Olympics? Here are some goalies that will give Team Canada fits. Henrik Lundqvist is with Team Sweden again, the defending gold medal winners from the 2006 Olympic games. A fellow Sweden teammate on the Senators NHL team claimed that Lundqvist was the best shootout goalie in the NHL. Canada will certainly experience problems with this world class goalie.

Canada are always the favorites, in almost any hockey tournament (with the exception of field hockey of course). but this year at the 2010 Hockey Tournament, it might be worth having your money on a team that doesn’t wear the Red and White of the Canucks. The teams from Europe have always been underestimated as medal contenders, even this year the USA and Team Canada have dominated the betting with sports books around the globe. But if you look to the North (No…the Other North), you’ll find some real value in placing a bet with the Nordic Teams at this year’s Olympic Tournament.

Team Canada has not always had the easiest time of it in the Olympic games. You’d think a country rabidly devoted to ice hockey would skate through the Olympic games to a gold medal, but as their past has shown the Canadian hockey team doesn’t always fare as expected.

To fully embrace the Winter Olympics vibe, now is the perfect time for fans to book their place in winter sports resort destinations and find some good ski gear to join in the

Health Care Summit

Posted in Doug Kaplan by Doug Kaplan on February 25, 2010

The Summit was a snoozer today. Some Winners today would be Obama WINNERS

Tom Coburn: The Oklahoma senator is among the most conservative voices in Congress but his remarks emerged as a — rare — rallying point during the day. Coburn’s comments on the necessity of eliminating waste and fraud from the health care system drew nods from the president and kudos from a handful of Democratic and Republican politicians gathered at Blair House. In a room dominated by politicians trying to score political points or vamp for the cameras, Coburn stood out.

President Obama: Did the president solve the problem of passing a health care bill today? No. But, there was never a reasonable expectation on either side that he would. What Obama did do was paint himself — for anyone who was watching — as someone genuinely interested in compromise and
